Hi Paul I can’t believe. You are still trying to explain to anyone that you can stay dry under a tarp. Some people just enjoy being antagonistic and get a koick out of the reaction. Keep up the good work and witchcraft with the tarp.
Hi John, yes there are the antagonistic people but then there are also some people who have trouble differentiating between there preconceived ideas and reality. Opinion vs experience seems to be a problem for some… 😉

Loved the rant. You highlighted a basic problem with YouTube: any idiot can post anything. I now know to watch no further if it starts, “Hi guys today I’m going to tell you how to…….”
Your rant did help me to make a kit decision for a forthcoming trip by contextualizing tarp/tent use. As usual expert, informed opinion that gets straight to the point. Thank you.

I consider bushcraft useful for hiking, camping, fishing and hunting, and even at home around the house, it’s never separate to any outdoor activities, because it enhances the outdoor experience. It’s just part of being outdoors, and it’s natural. Why would anyone think bushcraft is a separate skill to the other events?
